Logan City School District celebrates with Superintendent Garrett, Utah's Superintendent of the Year. Wednesday of this week, Logan High School staff began their responses to a survey about additional technology needs for instruction and how best to make effective use of the reality of a computer for every student. Through the survey teachers are addressing all aspects of the one-to-one (1:1) program at LHS, including their:
District staff is looking forward to working with Logan High School staff over the next few months as we address our implementation strategies for 1:1.
The Governor's Office of Economic Development approved funding for the 1:1 project at Logan High School. Information will continue to be available on the eLearning 2.0 webpage. Meetings with staff and students will begin in the coming month. Professional development for staff will occur throughout the remainder of the school year. Students will be invited to orientation meetings before school begins and laptops will be available the week prior to the 2015-2016 school year.
