Secure device while traveling.
Reduce likelihood of dropping, place device in secure locations.
Don't close objects inside of the laptop.
Don't open the laptop beyond its limit.
If a location is too hot for you, it is too hot for you laptop.
Dust and liquid are enemies of electronics.
Clean with approved products only.
Avoid loss or theft: don't leave your device unattended and have secure placed to store your devices.
Charge the battery with the power supply provided, use a serge protector whenever possible, and shut down during storms.
